See the exhibition SAND SODA LIME, wich charts the life of Alexander Samuelson, who learned the glassblower's trade at Surte. At the age of 20, as an accomplished craftsman, he emigrated to the United States. In 1915 he put his name to the patent application for a bottle manufactured for The Coca-Cola Company. the boy from Surte had found fame and fortune in America, and given the world its very first patented package solution
