Bohuslän has a colourful history, with its seasoned local tradition, widespread contacts across the seas, and its location on the border. Our exhibitions tell these stories and many others – some of our displays are permanent, others tour the region. The history of Uddevalla is one of them. The art gallery, ranking among Sweden’s finest, displays both Swedish and international contemporary art. The gift shop offers books on Bohuslän, hand-crafted items, jewellery, presents and much more. Our restaurant and café uses local, ecological produce, fresh bread and tasty treats. Where we are? Right at the waterfront in central Uddevalla, next to the recently completed boardwalk.
